We survived the week without Grandma and Grandpa. It was tough, but we did it. The kids are doing well. Landon did great at school this week. He planted some sunflowers and is very excited about that. I am working with him to help him learn to read. He is doing well. Landon is obsessed with Star Wars right now. He wants to talk about it constantly but I don't know anything about it. Thank goodness for his Dad and the library! He went with his Dad last night to a Wild Turkey Federation dinner and came home with a few prizes. They had a great time. Lauren told me on Monday her neck hurt because her Dad had been giving her too many "Anaconda Squeezes". I had to laugh. She is learning everything she can about ballet. I am also planning to have her play soccer in the fall. She is happy about that. Avery walks everywhere with her arms out in front of her like a zombie. It's hilarious. She also had her first sucker today and as you can tell......she was happy! Jerry has not been quite as busy at work....like working more 11 hour days instead of 15 hour days. We are grateful and happy he has a job he loves. He is playing his last game of softball tomorrow night. We have not been all that supportive but may try and attend. Jerry and I went to the temple on Friday. It was so peaceful and a much needed visit. Yesterday we did our spinning class together. It is such a good workout. Jerry has been playing raquetball as well. Our garden is finally growing. The first planting did not take but we are trying again. We will have to post some pictures if it works out. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!
